Pepscope is an innovative biotechnology company that develops and offers protein activity phosphoproteomics platforms to increase the identification of new combination therapy, repurpose drugs and discover biomarkers.

• The company was initially founded in 2012 by Jos Joore and Hans Brouwer. Anna Ressa has worked for the company since 2018 in repurposing the product by developing the QuantaKinome™ technology platform and becoming CEO and co-founder of Pepscope in 2020. The three founders have experience in innovative technology development for protein analyses.
• Pepscope is based in the Netherlands, with offices and laboratories in Utrecht and Wageningen.
• Pepscope secured a €4.3 million-euro funding round, led by KIKK Capital, with Oost NL and the Netherlands Enterprise Agency to further develop and commercialize QuantaKinome™.
• In addition, the company has a long-standing collaboration with worldwide known Prof. Maarten Altelaar and Prof. Albert Heck of the Biomolecular Mass Spectrometry and Proteomics Group at Utrecht University. This collaboration aims to expand the company’s product portfolio of innovative kinome profiling technologies using the latest technologies in mass spectrometry
